“De Dak Akker” (The Roof Plot) is an urban roof top farm boasting a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers. All this grows on a high roof top surrounded by modern high rises, right in the centre of Rotterdam (The second largest city in the Netherlands.) It’s currently Europe’s biggest harvestable rooftops and an exemplaric piece of urban innovation of its kind.
