Germany’s past is tainted, but its future is clear, strong and united.

On the 9th of November 2014, Germany lead the world in commemorating

25 years of freedom since the historic fall of the Berlin Wall.

This moment signified a fresh beginning for a country that was once torn

in two. Unity is the strong message that now holds the country together,

shining like a golden thread interwoven through the social, political

and economic fabrics of the nation.

Thanks to the collaboration between StoryTravelers and Kick the Grind,

you can see it for yourself through 20 captivating short films.

About the project

#Germany25reunified was a collaboration between Storytravelers and Kick the Grind. Caspar Diederik and Mike Corey, two similarly eccentric, visionary digital storytellers, each brought a unique point of view to the project.

In order to commemorate 25 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall, the German National Tourist Board commissioned the pair to produce 20 provocative and informative videos about the country’s remodelled tourist hubs.
