ABOUT THE PROJECT
We were honored to partner with We Are The Generation to tell the story of a groundbreaking regeneration project. This resulted in a 25-minute documentary following Stef, a Dutch entrepreneur, on a transformative 900 km trek through the Pyrenees, leading to the creation of a community-driven ecological restoration hub in Catalonia. Narrated by the River Muga, the film highlights efforts to combat drought, restore forests, and secure water for Costa Brava and its hinterlands. We aimed to showcase a living example of emerging regenerative societies, where community, nature, and sustainable change are key pillars.
REQUEST
The task was to distill the intricate narrative of the Foundation 'Pioneers Of Our Time' into a concise documentary-style story. Now, the project has a clear identity, inspiring people and attracting more investors.
APPROACH
We plugged into a colorful project crew, a blend of visionary funders, passionate foundation members, and the trailblazing team of We are the Regeneration, embarked on an memorable journey. We set out on a scouting adventure to capture the essence of the project, followed by two journeys of dicovery in the summer of 2024. By immersing ourselves in the stories and piecing together the narrative, we we able to lay the puzzle.
RESULT
In May 2025 the film was launched in the International Documentary Festival Pavillion in Amsterdam. The positive response was humbling.
